Breathe Easy Online Auction
  • Amount Raised: $14,065.00
  • Charity: Breathe Easy, The Egbert Douwe de Jong Fellowship Fund, and Lung Cancer Canada

The week of May 24th proved to be a busy and exciting one for Vonality Inc. The company partnered up with Breathe Easy to launch a campaign to raise awareness for lung cancer research and support. This campaign included an exciting gala, complete with the Breathe Easy Silent Auction, and Live Bid Auction event. Participants took part in bidding for a chance to win a number of unique packages, luxurious experiences, and stunning jewelry.

For the first time ever, attendees were able to bid at the event against online bidders and supporters from around the world. This not only helped to increase the number of bids and maximize their prices, but it also helped educate supporters from around the world about the cause, some of whom were unable to attend the event, or were unfamiliar with the organization.

Some of the items included:

  • Dining packages from some of the top Toronto restaurants
  • Two hour interior design consultation from Glenn Dixon & Margie Doyle from ”Take this House and Sell IT”
  • Couture gown from one of Canada’s top fashion designers, David Dixon
  • Once-in-a-lifetime getaway packages courtesy of Sotheby's Realty Canada, Quebec and West Coast Villas
  • A week with the A3 TDI
  • Tickets for the 2011 Stars on Ice show
  • MAC Cosmetics Gift Box
  • Hastens Luxury Bed Set and much more...

One look at the packages that were up for grabs did not surprise anyone that the event raised $14 065. All proceeds from tickets sales and funds from the auction went to support the Egbert Douwe de Jong Fellowship Fund and Lung Cancer Canada.

Thus Vonality Inc. did it again by enhancing the profile of the Breathe Easy Foundation through the company's strategic marketing strategies while offering bidders and supporters around the world the opportunity to show their support for this worthy cause. This subsequently leads to contributing to a positive difference for the lives of those affected by lung cancer. As a result, the Breathe Easy Silent Auction received thousands of dollars in funds in order to raise awareness of lung cancer and enhance finances to support cancer research.
